An International Breema Week event
Saturday, January 10, 2015
Everest College, 2111 Northgate Way, Seattle, WA [map]
The workshop consists of two sessions:
- 11-11:45am: Self-Breema w/ Jena Hennessey. There is no charge for this class.
- 1-4pm: Breema Bodywork w/ Erde Sun. $45; free for current or former Everest College students!
Breema introduces us to a new way of moving and a unique quality of touch which is a direct expression of our degree of presence. The body-mind connection is the foundation of Breema, the art of being present. With it, we can relate more harmoniously with what is.
Breema is based upon the Nine Principles of Harmony: Body Comfortable, Mutual Support, Firmness and Gentleness, Single Moment/Single Activity, No Extra, No Judgment, No Force, No Hurry/No Pause, and Full Participation.
In the free Self-Breema session, we will explore a variety of exercises that help to revitalize the body, supporting mental and emotional availability. The Breema Bodywork class will include a variety of partner sequences as well as additional Self-Breema sequences
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring clean socks. You should be comfortable sitting on a padded mat.
Give yourself a gift! Become familiar with embodying the nine universal principles, bringing more harmony to the activities and conditions of daily life.
New to Breema? Receive a complimentary mini-session between sessions, from 12-1pm.
